One of those errors people are making a big deal about, was one of experience.
In the future, when he hears, or thinks he hears, a senior pro telling him to leave the ball [I'm assuming that's what happened as it's inexplicable otherwise], he won't duck under it.

Squeaky 3.14, like most of us agree we need to reward potential and actual performance level adequately so 10K pw seems a reasonable starting point for Rice as long as his agent has got caveats such as appearance bonuses and incremental increases included.
What has piqued my interest though is your claim that other inferior contemporaries of Rice are being treated better. So can you tell us the names of the 19 year old players in the EPL on better than 30K pw?

Have you watched him being named motm in virtually every international he's played in?
He's 19 for fuck sake and plays with the assurance of a very good 30 year old. Sometimes I just watch him for twenty minutes during a game and I love the positions he takes up in a back three. such a good player and I'm proud he's our player.
If defenders didn't make mistakes there would be no goals in football. I fucking love the kid.

There is no evidence he's a special player yet. He's made key mistakes in games and he's a young player with potential we snatched from Chelsea. Some of you are blinkered. He has potential to become a regular squad player but if I'm honest I hope we sign someone better who is ready until he is good enough to step up.
